Blair, Sherry

K5 Writing

Hello! My name is Sherry Blair. I am a 4th Grade homeroom teacher and teach 3rd Grade ELAR, 4th Grade Science and Social Studies, and 5th Grade Science and Social Studies. I am currently working on my 8th year in education, 7 of which I have been an elementary teacher. I am married and have 4 children and 5 grandchildren. My husband, three daughters, and son are all Newcastle ISD alumni. I feel very blessed to be able to teach in Newcastle and feel privileged to teach my own grandchildren. I am the Treasurer of the Newcastle PTO, the Advisor of the Newcastle High School Bass Team💚, and the Coordinator for the Newcastle Youth Sports League.. In my free time, I enjoy bass fishing and spending time with family. I enjoy traveling to different lakes and watching my son fish for the Tarlton Bass Team. I am excited about the changes and advancements that our district has implemented and look forward to an outstanding year here at Newcastle ISD.
